About Brittany

Hi! I'm Dr. Brittany Hoover. Water a Seed was born from a simple mission: to make learning about agriculture more accessible and relatable.

My background in agricultural education has shaped my approach to creating hands-on learning. My experience ranges from teaching high school and college students to helping PreK - 12 teachers bring agriculture to their classrooms. 

For years, I’ve worked at the intersection of education, agriculture, and community development. Through that work, I’ve seen firsthand that growing food has a unique way of growing people, too.

Whether I’m leading a youth experience or a community workshop, I aim to create spaces where curiosity thrives.
