About Brittany

Hi! I'm Brittany. Water a Seed was born from a simple mission: to make learning about agriculture more accessible and relatable.

My background in agricultural education has shaped my approach to creating hands-on learning. My experience ranges from teaching high school and college students to helping PreK - 12 teachers bring agriculture to their classrooms. For years, I’ve worked at the intersection of education, agriculture, and community development. Through that work, I’ve seen firsthand that growing food has a unique way of growing people, too.

I believe the natural world isn't just a subject to study; it’s a pathway to connection. Whether I’m leading a youth experience or a community workshop, I aim to create spaces where curiosity thrives. From the soil under our feet to the food on our tables, I help people of all ages uncover the meaningful science hidden in plain sight.
